Students from Saxion, Westfälische Hochschule and FH Münster jointly presented their findings from the first Smart Lab. They ranked their recommendations from “low hanging fruits” to “costly, but with great benefits”.
André Jansen, Managing Director of High Tech Maintenance, was very satisfied with the results. The content of the numerous interviews they conducted with a wide variety of companies is particularly valuable to him.
The students also learned a lot during the 8-week R&D sprint. In addition to the special features of lathes and CNC machines, this also included project management and communication in an intercultural and international team of students.
