First Smart Solution Labs student team presents various solutions to Pfreundt GmbH

The Südlohn-based company’s task was to simplify the calibration of excavator bucket scales. The eight German and Dutch students asked many comprehension questions and repeatedly approached Pfreundt employees with interim results during the eight-week R&D sprint. They created various solution approaches, which they now presented at the Smart Solution Labs project day at Saxion in Enschede. The interdisciplinary nature of the students was a particular advantage here.

This marks the end of the first student team’s successful work for the Smart Solution Labs. During this time, they not only expanded their innovation expertise, but also learnt about international teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The programme will be continued in March with new students and the companies Nijdeken and Bellanet.
